What to expect, recovery and risks

Treatment is usually done with many small injections or a cannula after numbing; small bumps, redness, swelling and bruising are common and generally settle within days. Meaningful risks include persistent small bumps or nodules, uneven texture, infection and, rarely, vascular complications. The PDLLA component cannot be dissolved with an enzyme. A course of several sessions spaced weeks apart is typical, with gradual changes assessed over months.

Common questions

Is Juvelook a filler?

It is not designed to add volume like a filler. It is mainly used within the skin to support texture and firmness through a gradual collagen response.

Why does Juvelook contain hyaluronic acid?

The non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid adds short-term hydration and helps the product spread evenly; it is not intended to provide lasting volume.

How many sessions are usually needed?

A series of sessions several weeks apart is common. The number depends on your skin and goals and is reviewed during treatment.
