Skin Rejuvenation & Lifting
Glacial fx
Glacial fx is a skin-treatment platform that applies controlled cooling to the skin through a specialised handpiece. It is not a laser, and it works differently from radiofrequency and ultrasound devices, which rely on delivering heat energy into the skin. Depending on the protocol selected, controlled cooling may be used to support skin comfort and may improve the appearance of selected skin concerns such as temporary redness, skin that appears irritated or stressed, and dull or uneven-looking skin tone. It may also be considered to support skin comfort following selected procedures where medically appropriate. Cooling does not permanently change skin structure, and it does not permanently treat rosacea, pigmentation or inflammatory skin disease. Settings, protocol and the number of sessions depend on individual medical assessment by Dr. Areej Albisher, and suitability and results vary between patients.

Common questions
Is there downtime?
Usual activities can often be resumed straight afterwards. Temporary sensations of cold, mild redness or brief skin sensitivity may occur and generally settle quickly, varying with the protocol used.
When may results become visible?
Some patients notice a calmer, fresher-looking appearance shortly after a session, while other changes are assessed over a series of sessions. The degree of change varies and cannot be promised.
How many sessions may be recommended?
A single session may be considered for skin comfort, while appearance-related concerns are often reviewed over a short series. The plan depends on the concern and individual medical assessment.
