Skin Rejuvenation & Lifting
Sofwave
Sofwave is a non-invasive ultrasound-based treatment that works differently from other ultrasound devices: its energy is directed into the mid-layer of the skin rather than deeper supportive tissue. Controlled heating at this level may stimulate collagen renewal over the weeks that follow, which can support smoother-looking skin and a modest improvement in firmness. A cooling mechanism at the applicator surface is used to help protect the skin surface during delivery. Sofwave may be considered for fine lines and mild laxity where a gentler, non-invasive option is appropriate, and it does not replace surgical treatment. Whether Sofwave, another technology, or a combined plan is recommended depends on individual assessment by Dr. Areej Albisher. Results and suitability vary.

Common questions
Is Sofwave associated with downtime?
Sessions are usually short and most patients return to routine activities the same day. Mild warmth, redness or slight swelling may follow and generally eases within hours to a couple of days, depending on the settings used and individual skin.
When may Sofwave results begin to appear?
Any change relies on collagen renewal, so improvement usually develops gradually over about one to three months. Early changes may be subtle, and the extent of improvement differs between patients.
How many Sofwave sessions may be recommended?
Some patients are treated once and then reviewed, while others may be advised a small course spaced over time. The number of sessions is determined after assessment rather than set in advance.
