Laser Treatments
Aerolase Laser
Aerolase is a laser platform that delivers Nd:YAG laser energy in short pulses, without the applicator needing to touch the skin. The wavelength and pulse characteristics allow energy to be absorbed by different targets — such as vessels contributing to redness, pigment, or structures involved in acne — depending on how the treatment is set up. Settings are selected by Dr. Areej Albisher according to the diagnosis and the patient's skin type. Not every Aerolase treatment is suitable for every skin type or every concern, and some conditions need medical treatment alongside or instead of laser. Where appropriate, similar Nd:YAG technology may also be used for selected hair-removal concerns. Suitability, session numbers and the degree of change vary between patients and follow in-person assessment.

Common questions
Is there downtime?
Most patients resume usual activities soon afterwards. Temporary redness, warmth or mild swelling may occur and typically settles over hours to a few days, depending on the settings used and the area treated.
When may results become visible?
Some change may be noticed within days to a few weeks depending on the concern treated, with further change across a course. Responses differ between conditions and between patients.
How many sessions may be recommended?
A course of sessions spaced a few weeks apart is common, sometimes combined with prescribed medical treatment. The recommended number follows individual assessment and your response.
