Cosmetic Injectables
Radiesse
Radiesse is an injectable treatment based on calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres suspended in a gel carrier. It differs from a hyaluronic-acid filler: alongside the support the gel provides, the microspheres may stimulate the skin's own collagen response over time, so part of any change develops gradually. Depending on how it is prepared and placed, Radiesse may be used to support selected facial contours or, where medically appropriate, the appearance of the hands. Because of these properties, product selection, dilution and placement are decided after assessment rather than applied uniformly. Treatment is temporary and the material is gradually broken down. Suitability, treated areas and the degree of change depend on individual medical assessment by Dr. Areej Albisher, and results vary between patients.

Common questions
Is there downtime?
Usual activities can often be resumed shortly afterwards. Swelling, redness, tenderness or bruising may occur in the treated area and generally settles over days; experiences vary between patients.
When may results become visible?
Some support may be noticeable early, while the collagen-related component develops gradually over weeks to months. Radiesse is not identical to a hyaluronic-acid filler and the degree of change varies.
How many sessions may be recommended?
Some areas are treated in a single session with review afterwards, while others are approached gradually. The recommended plan depends on individual assessment and the areas treated.
