Body Treatments
EMTONE
EMTONE, made by BTL, is a non-invasive device that applies monopolar radiofrequency heat and mechanical targeted pressure energy at the same time. Cellulite has several contributing factors, including the structure of connective tissue, skin laxity and circulation; EMTONE is designed to address several of these together, which may improve the dimpled appearance and skin firmness on areas such as the thighs, hips, buttocks and abdomen. It does not remove cellulite permanently, is not a fat-loss or weight-loss treatment, and maintenance may be needed. Suitability is decided after assessment by Dr. Areej Albisher, and results vary between individuals.

What to expect, recovery and risks
Treatment is often compared to a warm massage with strong vibration and takes around 20 minutes per area; usual activities can typically be resumed immediately. Temporary redness, warmth or tenderness can occur. Radiofrequency devices are generally avoided during pregnancy and with pacemakers, metal implants in the area, or certain skin conditions. A series of around four sessions is commonly suggested, with changes reviewed afterwards.
Common questions
Does EMTONE get rid of cellulite permanently?
No. It may improve its appearance, but cellulite can persist or return over time, and maintenance or lifestyle factors play a role.
Is EMTONE the same as EMSCULPT?
No. Both are made by BTL, but EMSCULPT technologies focus on muscle stimulation, while EMTONE targets the appearance of cellulite and skin texture.
Is there downtime?
Usually not. Mild redness or warmth may be present for a short time after treatment.
